Welcome to SocialSeeds! We are a Community Interest Company based in the heart of Sunderland City Centre. Our aim is to connect our local community by offering support, workshops and a place for people to come together.

What we do

At SocialSeeds we are commited to providing a friendly, inclusive environment for our everyone in our community to enjoy. As well as running our welcoming coffee shop on Norfolk Street, Sunderland we also run a range of courses which are usually free to join! In the past we have delivered origami crafting projects to bring the community together and reduce social isolation. We have also ran introductory British Sign Language (BSL) workshops to help break down barriers that exist between deaf and hearing individuals in our community.

Diversity is a particular focus of ours which is why we will also be offering British Sign Language support on all of our workshops.
